About Cardlock
Years ago, the first unmanned commercial fueling sites had pumps with locks. Customers were issued keys for their fueling employees and charges went on a monthly account to the customer. Technology has enabled us to change from this "keylock" system to "cardlock", or pumps accessible to customers by encoded magnetic-strip cards issued to individual employees and used with a numerical Driver ID. Our cardlock customers now have access to real-time transaction data and the ability to change security settings like restricting the day, time and number of gallons, and even to disable cards if a card is lost or an employee is terminated.
Under the names Olympian and Western Energetix, NELLA has more than 200 fueling sites in northern California and Nevada with access to thousands of sites all over North America through our network affiliations with other distributors. With minimal volume purchases, there is no fee to the customer.
